Paul Krsek founded 5T Wealth Management, LLC (5T Wealth) in 1998. He is the Managing Member and Chief Investment Officer.
Paul has also been a founder, manager and director of several other successful firms that have since been profitably liquidated or sold.
He was co-founder and past-President of First California Northern Bancorp, a California bank holding company. First California Northern Bancorp was sold to Capitol Bancorp, LTD. (CBC) in 2005.
He was co-founder of Napa Community Bank (NCB) in Napa, CA. A majority interest in NCB was sold to Capitol Bancorp, LTD (CBC) in 2005. In 2010 CBC sold their entire interest in Napa Community Bank to Rabobank.
Paul is also co-founder and past-President of Predictive Financial Technologies, LLC (PFT) a hedge fund manager. PFT formed a joint venture with Olsen Data, of Zurich, Switzerland to manage foreign exchange funds in the United States. The two hedge funds formed by PFT have been profitably liquidated and all proceeds returned to the investors.
He was also the founder and past-managing partner of Krsek Publishing, LP (KPLP) which owned and operated the St. Helena Star and Weekly Calistogan newspapers from 1997-2003. KPLP was sold to Pulitzer Publishing in 2003.
Prior to forming 5T Wealth in 1998, Paul was employed from 1990-1998, by Edward Jones & Co., an NYSE member firm based in St. Louis, Missouri.
Paul was employed from 1983-1989 by Angeles Corporation in Los Angeles, California. From 1985-1989 he served as President, CEO, and Director of Angeles Securities Corporation. He also served as Executive Vice President and Director of Angeles Corporation, the parent company, a publicly held diversified financial services firm which managed approximately $4.4 billion in stock, bond, and real estate assets.
After leaving Angeles Corporation in 1989 Paul moved to the Napa Valley where he has lived and worked ever since. He has become an integral member of the community, having served on many non-profit boards, and in various service capacities, including his personal favorite, the St. Helena Rotary Club.
He is a frequent guest speaker for business groups in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys and author of several articles that have appeared in various newspapers and periodicals. He is also the author of 5T Wealth's periodic newsletter called Ellumination.
Paul has a BA in Sociology from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the Executive Management Program of the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.
Meghan Krsek is a managing member and Controller of 5T Wealth. She is responsible for all internal accounting, financial management, and manages the Family office team for 5T Wealth.
She works closely with two accounting firms in the annual preparation of all financial reporting and tax filings for 5T Wealth and our Family Office clients.
Prior to joining 5T Wealth, Meghan was controller for Dalla Terra, a Napa, CA company that imports specialty Italian wines to the United States for distribution.
Professional memberships include the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA). She is also a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow.
On an ongoing basis, Meghan gives back to her community through personal involvement and the dedication of her firm's resources. She enjoys participating in global coral reef research and spending time with her family and friends. She has traveled the world photographing life under the sea.
Meghan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Sonoma State University in Sonoma, CA.
Jeff serves as our Chief Compliance Officer and is responsible for business development in the areas of wealth management, financial planning and family office service.
Additionally, he is involved with 5T’s Investment Committee in forming investment policy, modeling and the selection and monitoring of external managers.
Beginning in 1989, Jeff’s career included executive management positions with Credit Suisse First Boston, Charles Schwab & Co., and Fidelity Investments.
He was considered a key player in advisor relations while building multi-billion dollar custodial solutions serving advisors and their clients spanning investments, compliance, operations and administrative services.
By 1998 he transitioned directly to the advisory side with Assante, as the lead U.S. Executive responsible for acquiring and integrating Registered Advisory firms into a $28 billion business.
In 2000, he joined Harris Private Bank and acquired myCFO to became Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Harris myCFO and a member of one of the Bank Boards. Harris myCFO served over 100 ultra-affluent family offices with $20 billion in assets.
In 2007, Jeff Co-founded Argos Wealth Advisors, LLC in Napa and in his role as Managing Partner and COO, helped build an investment consulting and multi-family office firm with over $870 million in assets under management.
Jeff joined our firm in 2014 after selling his equity interest in Argos to focus on his passion of building further family office clientele.
Jeff graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin with a B.B.A. in business administration, finance and business law. He is also a graduate of the Callan College of Fiduciary Studies.
Hien Scozzafava is our Family Office
and Senior Client Services
Representative at 5T.
She has been working in the financial services industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining the 5T team, Hien worked for a wealth management firm in Marin and was with LPL Financial Services in Southern California.
As one of the Family Office Representative for 5T, she is one of our company’s primary point of contact for all service related needs. Hien has taken the lead of the Client Services team by delivering exemplary service to our clients.
Hien lives in Marin with her husband and 2 young boys and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Jessica Sartain is the Client Services and Operations Representative at 5T.
Jessica has worked in the banking industry for over six years in various roles at Union Bank and Tamalpais Bank that compliment her responsibilities with 5T.
She has experience in supporting executive teams, budgeting, reporting, event coordination and promotions.
A Petaluma native, she has also worked as the Director of Aquatics for Petaluma Parks and Recreation Department and served on the board of Petaluma Animal Services as Vice Chairman in 2013.
Together with Family Office Services, Jessica is one of our company’s primary points of contact for all service related needs.
Jessica lives in Petaluma and enjoys spending time with her friends and family and volunteering with various charities including the American Heart Association and Canine Companions for Independence.
