Advisory Council

The 5T Advisory Council oversees and advises management on all aspects of 5T Wealth’s service to clients,
investment strategies, and business development practices.

The members of the council are professionals that have worked with 5T Wealth in various capacities in the past and have been invited onto the Council because of their deep commitment to constantly improving our offerings to clients.


Daphne Boyle began her career with Great West Life in 1989. She joined SML in 1994 as a Research
Analyst responsible for Life Insurance portfolio plan designs. In 2007, SML named Daphne as Director of
Life Operations where she serves as a senior account executive and consultant to many of SML’s valued
clients and their advisors. Ms. Boyle is an industry leader in the procurement and implementation of Life
insurance portfolios for estate planning and business continuity needs. Here industry affiliations include

  •  National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).
  •  Association for Advanced Underwriter (AALU)
  •  Million Dollar Roundtable – Qualifying Member

Daphne supports many local and national organizations, including the ALS TDI Foundation. She attended
Hayward State and is a member of her local business community association and Chamber of
Commerce. Daphne and her husband Sean live in Clayton and have three grown sons; Connor, Brendan
and Ryan.

Christopher Wendel is a global finance executive with 20 years of experience running large sales teams and raising capital in equity markets. The bulk of this time was with Goldman Sachs in the United States, Germany, and Japan.

While on sabbatical in Hawaii, Chris built his family office investing platform and became active in early-stage investments.  He joined one of his portfolio companies, Volta, as partner and CFO in 2012, and became president in 2014, based in San Francisco.

Chris lives in Napa with his wife and three children, and is very active in the community, serving as board chair of the Blue Oak School, and board member of the Cinema Napa Valley.




Charles (Chuck) Meibeyer recently retired as an attorney after practicing 35 years, principally in the Napa Valley as a wine lawyer handling real estate, land use and business matters on behalf of dozens of Napa Valley wineries and vineyards, as well as other hospitality clients such as the Culinary Institute of America, Michael Chiarello and Hotel Yountville and Rancho Caymus Inn.  Chuck also mediated approximately 350 disputes in a variety of substantive areas including real estate, land use, employment, marital dissolution, and wine industry matters.

After a much appreciated break, Chuck will be reactivating his real estate broker’s license to represent buyers and sellers of vineyard, winery, luxury estate and hotel properties in California, Oregon and Washington in later 2018. 

Jack Lease is a recent transplant to the Napa Valley, having moved from Chicago in 2014 where he lived for the prior 31 years.  He grew up in North Carolina and attended medical school at Duke University, graduating in 1983.  He completed residencies in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery in 1990, following which he assumed the position of Director of the University of Chicago Burn Unit until 1992.  He subsequently transitioned to private practice, focusing on reconstruction for breast cancer and skin cancer, along with a variety of aesthetic procedures.

In 2008 he developed the early signs  of Parkinson’s Disease and retired from clinical practice in March 2013.  Maintaining an active and aggressive exercise program is an integral component of his approach to treating Parkinson’s Disease, and he continues to advocate and promote this in newly diagnosed individuals.  He enjoys cooking, travel, a good political discussion, and the amazing Napa Valley.
